Hi my name is Randall the last few years have been rough, one of my brothers past away in 2013 from cancer and in July of 2014 our mother died. I've been taking care of my older brother who is diabled it's been hard but he is getting better. I've been doing a lot of multitasking and we have gotten help from our family and friends. I finally save enough money to get a car to take us where we need to go such as shopping, doctor appointments,and medical emergencies. I got him to new doctor who is great she, his condition has really improved.
I'm not used to asking for money or help in the past people have alway tried to take advange of me whenever I was down or in trouble so over the years I learned not to ask for help but to try and make do on my own. I have a good job at a local hospital, and when I get home I work as a freelance illustrator to make a little money so I'm always under lot of stress. I'm trying to keep my car running, my landlord raised the rent again!
Every winter my light bill goes over $300.00 a month, and a loan I'm trying to pay back. I've tried to put money aside but something always comes up and have to use it to fix the problem.
Last week they admitted me to the hospital I thought it was a really bad panick attack but turns out it was atrial fibrillation also known as afib. They have me on meds for it but I have to be careful because it could cause a stroke. I have tried many finacial assistance programs such salvation army,SNAP,EBT but they say I don't qualify.
I'm trying everything I can do.
One of my goals is to get a sercured credit card that would help out and rebuild my credit but I need a $300.00 deposit.
I am looking to move to a new apartment with cheaper rent.
I'm rationing my money to make sure I have enough to cover my medication for the rest of the year.
I am patching my car up as best I can so for it is holding together.
I understand everyone has their own stresses and financial burdens, but I'm asking for just a little help anything would be immensely appreciated.
