Our dear friend Nancy has been diagnosed with cancer and she needs our help!
Those of us who have been lucky enough be Nancy’s friend, neighbor, acquaintance, or colleague know she is one of the most generous people you could ever meet. She constantly gives her time, money, anything else she may have to friends, their children, and to strangers who need a hand.
When she is invited to a social event, she brings more than her share of potluck dishes, drinks, flowers, decorations, and appetizers. She’s the one who offers to pick up a friend at the airport, or at the mechanic, walk their dog when they’re away or sick, help clean out a garage, join in to plan the baby shower/birthday, pick up the check at lunch—and give the waiter a big tip!
She has continued that wonderful generosity even as her personal finances have become depleted.
Unfortunately, a recent diagnosis of endometrial uterine cancer plus a still to be diagnosed breast mass has left Nancy in quite a financial bind and she needs our support. She is scheduled for surgery in early November and will not be able to work in the near future, eliminating her monthly income at a time when she will also incur a stack of medical bills. This is our chance to do for Nancy what she has always done for us. Let’s show just how much she is loved and appreciated.
