Dom’s Vet Bills After Being Attacked

Dom was attacked early Wednesday morning by a neighbor’s dog. He was rushed to the ER Vet where they did X-rays, put drains in him and stitched up 4 large puncture wounds. 6 hours later he was allowed to go home. Dom is only 5 lbs and his body was badly injured. Later that day his owner, Meg, said he wouldn’t take food or his meds and was throwing up when he drank so she took him back to the vet. The vet decided to keep him so they could give him fluids and medicine intravenously while monitoring him. This morning, Thursday, they said he is septic. They are doing what they can but this is going to be very costly for Meg. Please donate and share to help lessen the burden for Meg.

Dom is stable right now and is going to have a trachea wash done because there is something in his lungs, but aren't sure what yet. I will keep everyone updated. (3/22/18).
