Support Connie Dorrell's Cancer Fight
Donation protected
2020 has been hard for everyone, but in a year of full of "hard years" Connie has had one of the roughest. On top of the burdens 2020 has dealt us all, Connie lost the love of her life Dean, this spring to a massive heart attack. Then 6 months later – to the day – she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
The cancer is wide spread, requiring a double mastectomy and reconstruction. Surgery is set for the day before Thanksgiving. After surgery she will be facing a long road of radiation and possibly chemo.
We know Connie is strong enough to fight this. She has shown how strong she is over the last 6 months. We watched her rise from her grief to be there for her friends and family. We have watched her work through all the setbacks that came with losing Dean. And now, we are watching her fight this new battle with cancer head on.
Our goal with this campaign is to relieve some of the burden. She has insurance, but there is still a large deductible and insurance doesn't cover the meals when you are too tired to cook, or rent when you are too tired to work. It doesn't cover all the little things you need to keep your spirits up and keep fighting. Our goal is to simply do what we can to make this time a little easier for her. Please donate what you can and keep Connie in your prayers.
Thank you for your support,
Kate Ishay (Dorrell) & Tracy Lattin (Dorrell)
