Help4Hope Urgent Needs

We are Jack and Judi Sprayberry. We have a nonprofit in Zambia called Help4Hope Afrika. So many people in Africa need HELP to have HOPE. We have 3 specific urgent requests. Will you give today?

Families in Immediate Need:

First is Monica Mwansa in Zambia Africa. We need to rebuild their home for her, her grandmother and the five grandchildren she is raising. It was made from only chicken wire, burlap and stuccoed. We need to buy food for them and build a better room! Our donations are dwindling to help these people.

This is what our worker wrote to us yesterday: “Amai I went to the Monica and Catherine house and I have find the The house is not good I have find very big holes and she was complaining that when they was asleep The thief's they have stealing all the pots you have given her and all the dishes that's was happening at night she is just crying for what happened to her. And they have no food.” We need a minimum of $2,000 to make their home livable and provide basic necessities.

Next is Tunta, a boy with hydrocephalus that we have been helping for some years. Along with his dad who had a stroke and their family. The mother Jane is the sole breadwinner for the family. They NEVER ask for anything but are now asking for help. His mother wrote me this in am: “Judi how are you? Please I need your prayers, I have gone through a lot this year. Did I tell you that I decided to go and work at a rural school just to make sure I have enough for my family? I left Tunta in the hands of the father who is also struggling with his health. I thought things would work out well but seems not to. Now this time am in Kafue looking after my parents who are not well. Mum Is suffering from high blood pressure and high sugar levels and dad is losing sight on one eye so he needs surgery. Please pray for me, am so stressed to death. Also Tunta is supposed to go for his review but we can't take him because of transport, he is now a man, we can't use public transport, thieves stole the battery from the car so it is packed. I just thought of sharing my issues with you for encouragement. I sometimes even fail to pray for myself”. THESE PEOPLE NEED HELP! I have encouraged them with scripture and we are praying but they need money to provide for themselves. We need $2,000 to provide medical attention, food and vehicle repair.

Last is a personal request. We were taking a patient home from a hospital at night 6 hours away, when suddenly a drunk ran in front of our car and tragically he was killed. It was an extremely unfortunate and scary situation. We have managed to settle with his family and ultimately the police released Jack – but not before some very expensive settlements. Our vehicle has been in a repair shop since October. It will finally be ready next week. We need $1000 to release the vehicle from the repair shop and cover what insurance doesn’t. Please can you help!?

These aren’t 1st world problems they are BIG 3rd world problems. Food, safe housing, life and death medical needs. We don’t try to help everyone we see. We pray and the Lord presents them to us. These funds will be used to help give hope to those who have dire needs.
