Fred is a man living and working in the Washington, DC metro area, who over the last 15 years has faced and overcome several serious health and injury events. During those years he also had periods of unemployment, coupled with a lack of health care coverage, which left him in a deep financial hole.

He has clawed himself almost all the way out, and is now steadily employed with benefits. Nevertheless, today he finds himself without the cash or the credit he needs to clear one more financial hurdle. If he can't make it over this one, he reasonably fears the onset of a spin that will pose a mighty challenge to recover from.

Specifically, these funds will be used to clear 2 months of back rent and fees (April and May, 2019) and 1 month of current rent due. The funds are needed by June 10, 2019. His landlord has been patient and understanding until now, but Fred realizes that in the end, it is business. He must bring his account up to date, or face leaving his apartment without the necessary resources to secure another home.
