Greetings From Prakash Chincholikar,
Most of you must be aware by now about recent devastating earthquake hitting Nepal. So far more than 6,500 lives have been lost (more bodies are yet to be recovered) and thousands of people are severely injured, mentally traumatized for losing close family members, relatives or friends. I am deeply inspired by how the entire world has come together and joined hands to help all those who have been affected by this gruesome event.
Regarding 11 Families that my family personally knows:
My cousin, Ketan Shah, back home in Hyderabad, India runs a business and several of his employees are from Nepal. He was sharing that 11 of his employees have lost everything that they had back home in Nepal. Their homes have been destroyed and collapsed to the ground. Thereby, losing all their belongings in the disaster. All these families range from low-income group and recovering from this disaster on their own is almost impossible for them.
Based on the initial rough estimate provided, each family would need approximately 100,000 Nepali Rupees (equivalent to ~ US $1000) to revive their houses to basic condition.
I am setting this GoFundMe account to help raise $ 11,000 in next 30 days which would help these 11 families in re-building their houses. Rest assured, my family will ensure that all the money raised will reach these 11 affected employees. 101% transparency is guaranteed!
I sincerely hope my friends would come forward and join my hands in helping these families at this hour.
