HELP ZYON RECEIVE EMERGENCY SURGERY

I adopted Zyon at 5mths of age from Jades Rescue. I found him online and knew he was the one for me.

I am a survivor of childhood trauma and major depression which affects my quality of life.

Zyon instantly became my best buddy and animal companion. When he was 1 1/2yrs old he started limping and that’s when he was diagnosed with elbow dysplasia to both elbows. This is a degenerative genetic illness and pet insurance does not cover it.

His condition has deteriorated suddenly and I have been advised that emergency surgery is the only option. This news has caused myself and my children obvious distress as I can’t afford the surgery.

For the last 6mths I have been managing Zyon’s pain and mobility issues with his vet and a combination of expensive medications.

His elbow dysplasia will only get worse, causing him immobility, stiff joints and a sedentary lifestyle, which is no quality of life for a dog.

Zyon means the world to me and my boys. His companionship and love of life gives me the motivation to keep going.
