Help Zyon Move to His Dream City ️️

My name is Zyon (he/him). I am an artist, business owner and a black trans man. I have wanted to move to Denver, CO for about 5 years and now it is finally aligning for me. I have been wanting to move out of the south for a longer time, facing discrimination because of multiple aspects of my identity has truly been difficult. I am ready to move from

an area where my identity puts me in danger to a city where it is embraced. I have secured a job I know I will enjoy and have lined up housing but with my current bills and transportation costs where I currently live/work, making this move final is a little out of reach. I am learning to ask for help when I need it so I am raising money to make this move of my dreams a reality. The donations received from this fundraiser will help cover moving costs and fees. Reasons for Moving to Colorado: 

• Embracing My Identity: Denver is a city known for its inclusivity and acceptance, offering a supportive environment for me as a Black trans man. I’m excited to thrive in a community that celebrates and embraces diversity. 

• Safety and Security: Moving away from an environment where I’ve faced discrimination and danger is crucial for my well-being. Moving here will provide me with improved stability and security. The jobs being offered to me in Colorado will provide me with a substantial income increase. 

• Creative Collaboration: I feel called to Denver because of its vibrant arts scene. The opportunity to connect with a diverse network of artists will inspire and elevate my work, allowing me to collaborate and innovate my current and future creative projects. 

• Personal Growth: This move represents a significant step in my personal journey. It’s about embracing new opportunities and living authentically in a place that aligns with my values. I have grand goals for this move to Colorado. Over the years, that I plan to live here I anticipate on achieving a lot while living here. 

• Supportive Community: I look forward to building relationships with like-minded individuals who share my passions and can uplift and support me on my journey. __________________________________

Why I need help with Funding this move: 

• Current Financial Strain: My existing bills and transportation costs are overwhelming, with daily expenses exceeding $50 just to commute to work. This is not sustainable as I prepare for my move and makes it quite difficult to build my savings towards moving cost. 

• Urgent Job Start Date: I have a job offer offer in Denver, CO that requires me to start by November 1. This tight timeline means I need to secure funds quickly to make the move possible. 

•  Moving Costs: As this is a cross-country relocation, I will incur significant moving expenses, including transportation for myself and my two cats, and other associated fees. 

• Living Expenses: I need to ensure I have enough for initial living costs in Denver while I settle into my new job and environment. __________________________________
