Please help us save our sweet Zyla girl’s ability to walk. Zyla is our first fur baby. She is the sweetest dog, full of energy, and still acts like a puppy. She loves her tennis balls but has not been able to run or play with them in over three months. At just 4 years old, she has started losing motor function in her back legs due to a spinal condition. We were told paralysis is not a matter of if, but when.
We have been doing everything we can to help manage it and slow the progression down. She has been on medications, receiving laser treatments, and taking supplements. We have seen some improvement, which allows us to move forward with surgery. This surgery would give Zyla a longer, happier, and pain free life, but the cost is extremely overwhelming for us.
The total needed is $7,700. We at first tried a more affordable imaging option, however the risks are significantly higher. The $7,700 includes $3,000 for imaging and $4,700 for spinal surgery. We will be able to manage the cost of her medication and after surgery care, so that is not included.
Zyla is part of our family, and we want to do everything we can to help her. If you are able to donate, it would truly mean the world. Every little bit helps. If you are unable to donate, sharing her story means just as much. We are forever grateful for your support and generosity. Thank you for helping give our sweet girl the second chance she deserves.
