Help Zuko Recover from Emergency Procedure
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Liam and I'm collecting donations to raise funds for my emotional support kitty's emergency operation. His name is Zuko, he's a 9-year-old Bombay cat that I recently adopted. I received a call from the location I was boarding him at while I was away on 6/25/25. They informed me that he may be developing a urinary blockage due to stress. I picked him up from boarding on 6/26/25. He was only home a few hours. I watched him struggling to urinate for an hour until he cried. I immediately packed him into his carrier and took him to an emergency veterinary hospital. When we arrived, they immediately took him back to the operating room. The veterinarian informed me that his bladder was the size of a baseball, and the poor little guy was in a lot of pain. They had to do an emergency procedure to empty his bladder in order to save his life. Zuko is now in stable condition, resting and recovering from his procedure. However, he will need to stay in the animal hospital for a minimum of 48 hours to ensure his urinary tract does not become blocked again. In total, so far, the emergency procedure has cost $3,500. I'm already struggling to pay rent, but I couldn't lose my baby boy. Any and all donations are appreciated. Thank you so much!! <3
