Hello, Zsolti Christopher here. (Pronounced: ZHOHL-tee)

As you may know, I was robbed on November 20th in Clearwater Beach, Florida. My work bag was stolen with my camera, lenses, SD cards, SSD (these last two containing years of my work), car keys, and other gear. I have filed a police report and there is an open case in progress, but the chances that we trace the culprit are slim without my camera's serial number (which I am currently trying to piece together from zooming in on photos of my camera's underside). However, you can only zoom in so far before numbers are illegible. I have attached a full list of the stolen items.

I'll briefly introduce myself. I'm a 25-year-old outdoor/adventure freelance photographer based in South Florida. Professionally, I shoot lifestyle content for outdoor brands, and in my free time, I also shoot to express myself and share my work.

I usually don't like asking for help, but I'm swallowing my pride and posting this to help recover the cost of a new camera. There is not a single cent or dollar that is lost on me and no amount is too small. If you enjoy my work, it would mean a lot if you support me through this challenge, by donating or sharing my story.

I love photography and I see it as a way to help myself and others understand themselves and those around them. I truly believe that art makes the world a better place and provides a soul to society.

My camera is my prized possession and something I use every single day. I’m so lost without photography and the ability to express myself. I feel very distressed that someone would take my kit.

Photography is not only work, but it’s also play for me at the same time. I have two pages: one for my brand work and the other for creative expression.

My goal with my personal page is to help people discuss maybe topics that aren’t so easy to discuss and share my faith and the peace that God provides. My camera is both my fishing pole (teach a man to fish) and my sword (with how I take on adversity).

Photography has also helped me meet some of my best friends and some of the nicest people. I cannot even begin to say how many of you I’ve either met through photography, became closer to through photography, shot photos of, brainstormed photographs with, or shared a photo with. Photography has truly been a great way of connecting those around me and serving others.

I really hope I can continue to do this and I’m planning to purchase a new camera so I can continue working. As you know, cameras are not cheap, and I have not budgeted for having to lose my full kit and start over from scratch. It would mean the world to me if you are able to help me get back to photography. I’m very thankful for the generosity and kindness that has already been shown to me thus far.
