Zonia and Miguel have helped so many of us -- with their incredible hard work, their kindness, and their creativity. Now it's our turn to help them. The court recently denied their request for refugee status, following a hearing that was riddled with problems (the judge was playing on her phone!). Zonia and Miguel now face an expensive appeal process. They both work multiple jobs in our city, but the legal fees are daunting.
