Help Zoltan Recover from Motorcycle Accident
Donation protected
Hi,
My son, Zoltan Suhay, is a professional photographer (Zoltan Suhay Photography ) and avid Triumph motorcycle rider in Jersey City, NJ. He was struck by an SUV that changed lanes and apparently didn't see him.
Zoltan's left tibia was fractured and he needed six hours of surgery to put in a plate and screws. His big toe was also broken and his left hand was injured as well. He will be out of work for at least eight to 13 weeks which is a financial disaster for a small business owner.
His insurance company will NOT cover his bike or medical bills. We have to hope the driver who was apparently at fault has insurance that will cover something.
While he has submitted an application for temporary disability he needs to cover his rent, expenses and the purchase of some assistive gear for his recovery while waiting what could be months for any relief to come through.
The bike, a 2005 Triumph Bonneville, may be beyond repair.
This fundraiser is to make sure he can pay his rent, food, and medical bills until the insurance companies and courts can help relieve the financial burdens he is now facing.
Zoltan is known for his work in real estate, weddings, Sourland Mountains Spirits, portraiture, and especially in the LGBTQIA+ community in Jersey City and New York and, of course, in the motorcycle community with Clutchmoto, DGR 2021. His work was published in the book The Racer Within.
