Help Zoila and Her Kids Get Back On Their Feet After Fire
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Rezeta, and I had the privilege of meeting Zoila Ramírez and her four wonderful children while volunteering at the Pasadena Shelters. Their story broke my heart.
Zoila is a single mother who has worked tirelessly as a housekeeper to provide for her family. Tragically, their lives were upended by the recent Altadena fires. Half of their apartment building burned down, and everything they owned was deemed toxic and unsalvageable. They’ve been displaced with no place to call home and no possessions left to rebuild their lives.
For the past 10 days, Zoila and her children have been sleeping on the floor.
Despite facing these unimaginable challenges, Zoila remains the kindest, most resilient woman I’ve ever met. Her strength and love for her children are inspiring, but she needs our help now more than ever.
I’m asking our community to come together and support this incredible family. Every donation—no matter how small—will make a difference in helping Zoila and her children get back on their feet. Your generosity will go directly toward securing safe housing, clothing, and other essentials for them.
If you can’t donate, please consider sharing their story. Together, we can show Zoila and her kids that they’re not alone, and that there is hope and love surrounding them in this difficult time.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for helping this sweet family rebuild their lives.
