Help ZoeyLynn's PKD3 disease medical fund

Donation protected
ZoeyLynn is a 10 year old who experiences lower back and lower abdominal pain, mostly on a daily bases. Six months ago, an MRI on her back was done, and it was discovered that her kidneys were full of multiple cysts. With further tests, Zoeylynn was diagnosed with a rare kidney disease called PKD3. According to recent data, 0.3% of the entire world has had this form of PKD3. With what little data is available on this type of PKD, it is known that it can cause cysts to develop not only on her kidneys but also on her other organs, including her brain or cause aneurysms on the brain. Over the last several months, ZoeyLynn has been experiencing additional symptoms such as bad headaches, blur vision, and dizziness. A brain MRI was ordered, and the test results are currently normal. Three days later, Zoeylynn started experiencing severe abdominal pain. After a visit to ER, they found additional symptoms. Her white blood count and blood pressure were high when it was determined she had a UTI, a prevalent symptom of this disease. She was placed on antibiotics, and 3 days later, I was informed that it wasn't a UTI. So, for a couple of days, she was feeling fine, then for some reason, she started having difficulty sleeping. Over a 48-hour period, she slept a total of 3 hours, and the same symptoms were back. Now down to Lutherans Children Hospital's ER in Park Ridge. Her blood pressure was high again, with severe abdominal pain and dizziness. After 9 hours in the ER, she had to be admitted for further observation as her blood pressure kept fluctuating. After several tests, it was determined that more cysts had formed on her kidneys, but all the blood work was normal. After spending 48 hours in the hospital, the symptoms ceased. With nothing else out of the normal on her tests and little data on this disease, doctors can only think that her kidneys had caused these symptoms but were not 100% sure. Recently it was brought to my attention that there is a pediatric kidney specialist at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. I have heard all amazing things about them and how they may be able to research this disease further and help ZoeyLynn. I have contacted the Mayo Clinic; however, I was informed they do not take her insurance and require an upfront deposit of $5,000.00, which is used towards her initial visit and testing. We are asking for your help by please donating to this fund to help cover the initial visit/testing and further medical expenses, along with travel expenses. You see, there is currently no cure for this disease, but we need to find some answers to help ZoeyLynn. Your generosity is greatly appreciated in this time of need, and we "Thank you" from the bottom of our hearts.
