My dog Zoey is eight years old, and for all those years, she has been my absolute best friend. I truly don’t know what I’d do without her. When Zoey was six, she tore her TCL and needed surgery, which thankfully was successful. Fast forward to today, and Zoey has been seeing the vet for the past month to deal with air trapped in her chest cavity. As of right now, it hasn’t gotten better, and the only thing we can do is give it time and hope for improvement.

This past week, Zoey started limping on her right leg. At her checkup today, we learned she tore her other TCL. My family cannot afford the surgery right now, and it breaks my heart to see her in pain. The appointment today was expensive just for x-rays, and the surgery is much more. I hate asking for help, but I don’t want my baby to have to walk around with a messed up leg.
