Zoey is more than just a pet—she’s family. On April 9th, she was taken from my yard, and I spent hours searching for her, hoping she would come home safe. On April 10th, I received a call from the local shelter. They told me Zoey had been found near an animal hospital in Edgewater, near Jersey, after being hit by a car. My heart broke hearing she was in pain and needed urgent help.

Right now, Zoey is on pain medication, but she needs surgery as soon as possible. I am doing everything I can, but the costs for her surgery, medication, X-rays, and aftercare are more than I can manage alone. She is currently schedule for surgery on Tuesday April 14th at 8am to fix a very challenging fracture on her right hind knee.
