I nearly lost my daughter last night. When I arrived on the scene, she was hysterical and covered in thick black smoke from head to toe. Her face was streaked from her tears.
She just moved into her 1st apartment on Sep 20th, 2025. If you only knew how hard it was to even get this little place! She had only been there for 4 days when the apartment attached to hers caught on fire, floor to ceiling. The smoke filled her entire apartment, and she ran in to save her dog, knowing it was risking her life! The dog was lost, and Zoey couldn't breathe, so she had to get out. She turned around and headed downstairs. Thank God the dog heard her screaming and followed her downstairs and out!
She has lost every single thing she owns. All clothes, shoes, sacred sentimental things she has had her whole life... Her TV, bed, all her food she just bought, precious artwork. Gone within minutes!
This girl has been knocked down hard this time, and she really needs to see love and support in a huge way.
We're all so happy her little dog, MoMo, is alive, although she is having respiratory issues and needs a vet's attention, and we're working on that now as well.
This is a picture of her little unicorn that flew out of the windows that were sealed shut when the fire department forced them open. It's her only possession other than the dress she was wearing and her purse. This little unicorn is now her most prized item she owns.
Please help now. She needs a home, and everything that follows.
Friends, family, and strangers who feel the pull on this post, please don't ignore it. Please share and please donate if you are able.
