Hi, I’m Sasa! founder of Zoë’s Place, and this is our story of survival, love, and something beautiful created from one of the hardest seasons of my life.

MY WHY

Five years ago, I heard the words no one ever expects:

“You have breast cancer.”

That chapter of my life was filled with uncertainty, fear, and some of the hardest days I’ve ever faced.

But healing didn’t just happen in hospitals.

It happened in my kitchen.

Afternoons spent baking with my granddaughter, Zoë, became my safe place.

We weren’t just making desserts we were rebuilding joy.

We laughed, made messes, tasted frosting straight from the bowl, and created little moments that reminded me life was still sweet.

Zoë began naming every dessert we made giving each one a personality, a story, and a little piece of her imagination.

That’s where Zoë’s Place was born.

WHAT IS ZOË’S PLACE?

Zoë’s Place is a growing dessert brand built on love, resilience, and the desire to make a difference through something as simple and powerful as a sweet treat.

We create:

Decadent cakes and rich rum cakes

Signature dessert jars inspired by Zoë’s creativity

Fresh pressed juices

Thoughtfully crafted desserts made with real ingredients no shortcuts

And because of my own health journey, I’ve also begun developing healthier dessert options, so people can enjoy something sweet while still being mindful of their well being.

Our rum cakes carry a subtle touch of our Jamaican roots but our vision goes beyond that.

We’re building something for everyone.

Every product we make is rooted in care, intention, and love.
