Hello! My name is Zoe Cortes, I am 17 Years old. I have been a Christian my whole life and have been attending a church called Church In The Son for many years. I am involved in their Fine Arts program and have been involved for about 3 going on 4 years now. In Fine Arts, we use and portray the talent God has given us in a competition (which is called districts) where we compete to advance onto nationals. God has given me the gift to preach the gospel and minister to many, sing with my fellow peers in a choir, and communicate a message using rhythm, emotion, and poetry. which is called Spoken Word. For Districts, my spoken word, named, “Dear Anxiety” placed 8th in the district, and I had numerous people expressing how my spoken word ministered to them, which I am utterly blessed to be able to do :)

In all my years of doing Fine Arts, I have advanced every year and went to nationals, last year, I went to nationals in Ohio, and performed, and it was one of the best experiences ever! Nationals this year will be held in Orlando, and the cost of it will be $700. I want to go to nationals so I can use my gifts to minister to other people and be a light to anyone who might need it in the crowd. Help me make this opportunity happen!
