Wow- I prayed this part of the journey would never be realized but here we are. After more than a year of praying, fasting and hoping for Zoe’s heart to be healed without a surgical intervention- surgery is on the horizon. In a few weeks we will be heading to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for heart surgery to address the diagnosis of Tetrology of Fallot. Throughout the last 16 months Zoe has defied many odds. God has sustained her to this point and we are extremely thankful! She is a miracle child full of vim and vigor and I couldn’t image a life without her. We already have many reasons to shout!! If you desire to support us as we travel to Minnesota and pay subsequent medical bills- we welcome all the love. Zoe’s surgery is scheduled for 1/22/25 and we plan on staying in Minnesota for 10 days. The support we receive will go for the trip to and from Minnesota which is estimated to be around $2800, the loss of work for me as I go on FMLA for three weeks (or more if necessary) and the cost of the surgery. We are claiming VICTORY and ask that you pray for traveling mercies, healing, strength, no surgical complications, peace, favor, discernment, excellence for all the medical staff who will operate and care for her, for competent nurses and kindness to be displayed every step of the way from the folks at the airport to the grocery store clerk!
