Zoe is my beloved emotional support dog and has been by my side through some of the most challenging times in my life. At her recent annual checkup and vaccines, I showed the vet two growths on Zoe that had me worried. The vet is concerned that these growths may be mass cell cancer and strongly recommended that they be removed as soon as possible. This news was overwhelming, but I know I have to do everything I can to make sure Zoe gets the care she needs.
Raising these funds will allow me to properly care for and treat Zoe. The surgery to remove the growths is necessary to prevent the possibility of cancer spreading if the growths turn out to be malignant. As someone who is disabled and living on disability, it is difficult for me to cover these unexpected medical expenses on my own. Zoe is not just a pet—she is like a child to me. She helps me get out of bed every morning, encourages me to socialize and get exercise at the dog park, and brings so much joy and purpose to my life. Next to my daughter, Zoe truly makes my life worth living.
I am reaching out to ask for your help and support in giving Zoe the best chance at a healthy future. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to us. Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for considering supporting Zoe’s care.
