My name is Cecelia, and I’m reaching out for help for my beloved dog, Zoe. I rescued Zoe in 2015 when she was just 8 months old, and she’s been my loyal companion ever since. Recently, life has thrown us some unexpected challenges. My role was eliminated due to department-wide layoffs, and my unemployment benefits have now concluded. While I remain persistent and focused on finding the right job, the current market is highly competitive, making things even more difficult.
Amidst all this, Zoe has developed a rapidly growing tumor in her mouth, located on her left jaw. The tumor was first noticed by her primary veterinarian in January 2026, and despite antibiotics and pain medication, it has grown aggressively. Her vet explained that removing the tumor is too risky for him to perform, and he recommended seeking a specialist. After seeing Zoe struggle with eating and drinking, and noticing her energy levels drop, I knew I had to act quickly. Zoe is scheduled to see an oncologist for a consultation on March 27, but I simply do not have the funds to cover her surgery and any additional treatment she may need.
Zoe is an adorable, funny, and loving dog who has brought so much happiness into my life. Even now, she remains spunky and affectionate, especially after her pain medication. I am doing everything I can to ensure she gets the care she deserves, but I can’t do it alone. Any support for Zoe means the world to us. Thank you for considering helping us during this difficult time.
