My name is Alexandra Sotelo, and I am doing this for Zoe. I am her Godmother and Zoe mom’s best friend. “My sister” that is why Zoe is my little “niece”.
Zoe is a beautiful 4-year-old little girl from Ecuador, full of love, joy, and the brightest smile. She is not just a diagnosis—she is a daughter, a granddaughter, a little princess who deserves a future. In January, Zoe was diagnosed with DIPG, an aggressive and devastating childhood brain tumor. Since then, her life—and her family’s—has completely changed. What once was laughter and play is now filled with hospital visits, painful treatments, and long days of uncertainty.
Zoe is currently undergoing radiotherapy in hopes of slowing down the tumor’s growth. Watching such a joyful and loving child go through these difficult medical procedures has been heartbreaking for everyone who loves her. Her mom, Eulalia, has had to stop working to care for Zoe full-time. On top of this, Zoe’s grandmother is also battling her own health challenges and requires regular hemodialysis. The family is facing an overwhelming financial burden, trying to cover medical treatments, medications, and daily care.
I currently live in the United States, while Zoe and her family are in Ecuador. I am organizing this fundraiser on their behalf to help reach more people internationally. All funds will be received in my account here in the U.S. and will be personally and directly transferred to her mother, Eulalia Carchi, in Quito, Ecuador, to support Zoe’s medical treatments, medications, and care. I am committed to full transparency and will continue sharing updates on how the funds are being used to support Zoe during this difficult journey.
We are asking, from the bottom of our hearts, for your support. How can you help? Share Zoe’s story with others, keep her in your prayers, and donate if you are able—no amount is too small. Every contribution, every prayer, and every share brings hope to Zoe and her family. We believe in miracles, and your kindness can make a difference in this fight. Thank you for standing with Zoe.
