My name is Hillary McHenry. I am raising money to cover medical expenses for our dog, Zoe.

The first thing you need to know about her is that she is a classic Cinderella story. Born in Mexico, Zoe lived the first nine months of her life on the streets of Tijuana. She crossed the border into the United States in 2015, but her journey had its struggles. Unfortunately, as she made the trek to Temecula, CA, she was hit by a car. Zoe was left with road rash, a crooked jaw, and a missing eye. The fact that she even made it to California was nothing short of a miracle. As soon as we saw her picture online, it was love at first sight, and we raced to Temecula to adopt her. From rags to riches, Zoe is the definition of adversity and perseverance.

She was recently diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, and the treatments (including surgery) have put a massive financial strain on us.
