Help Zoë Bastin Make A New Dance Work in Croatia!

Hello friends and supporters,

It’s been a whirlwind year bursting with creative energy, growth, and exciting new directions—and I’m thrilled to share what’s next.

This July, I’m heading to Croatia to develop a new choreographic project called Liquid Love, created in collaboration with choreographer Koraljka Begović. Liquid Love explores hydra-feminism, chronic illness, and bodily resilience—deeply inspired by my own journey living with endometriosis and healing after surgery. Through glitter scenography and intimate storytelling, this work speaks to strength and fluidity in the face of ongoing challenges. We're doing a residency at Zagreb Dance Centre to bring this powerful project to life.

After Croatia, I’ll be returning to Vienna for ImPulsTanz, an international dance festival where I’ll connect with presenters and take workshops to deepen my practice and expand my creative networks. Last year, I participated in the ATLAS choreographic intensive there, which was pivotal in shaping how I think about movement, context, and audience. I’m grateful for the opportunity to return and keep building on that experience among world-leading dance practitioners.

While the Croatian government has generously supported part of the project, I still need to raise $4,800 to cover my time and travel costs.
