This is Zion and Rosie. Zion is our AMAZING 5 year old son. Zion has had medical issues for his whole life. He is non-mobile and nonverbal. He uses a wheelchair. Eats 100% by gtube. He also suffers from severe epilepsy. Last May, he had a 40+ minute tonic clonic seizure and I thought we lost him. Fortunately he was able to be revived and came back to us! After Zion had that seizure, it made his condition seem more real so we looked into Make A Wish. I truly feel like Zion deserves all of his wishes to come true, so this was an amazing opportunity for him! Because of covid, choosing a wish was more difficult. No travel wishes were being granted so we decided that the next best thing would be a new pet. We chose an english bulldog and about a month later we got her! From the minute they met, they have been best friends. Zion is unable to move on his own, but Rosie will lay with him or run around so he can watch her. She has been the best thing for Zion!

Unfortunately, Rosie injured herself last week. She jumped, landed wrong, and broke her elbow in two places. Because of her age and the location of the break, she needs surgery. They estimate the surgery will be around 4000 dollars, plus an additional couple hundred dollars for blood work and testing. We already had to pay 400 for her emergency visit and just dont have 4000+ dollars laying around for her surgery. Zion loves his puppy so much and deserves to have her. And Rosie deserves to be as healthy as she can be. She has a very important job being Zions friend and guardian and I hope we can get her this surgery so they can continue to grow together!
