Help Ziggy the Doberman and his Family

Donation protected

Lori Klasny Hensley, Morgan and Mckenna Hensley were victims of a house fire that claimed the lives of two of their dogs, Wiggles, a Frenchie mix, and Dream, a Whippet. Their third dog, Ziggy, a Doberman, suffered from smoke inhalation and ulceration to his eye in the fire. Lori, who had rushed into the house to try to save the dogs, was taken to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

The contents of the family’s home were lost in the fire and Lori is a self-employed professional dog trainer who must take time off work due to the loss of her home. She is the single parent of two daughters, Morgan and Mckenna.

Lori has rescued and rehabilitated numerous rescue dogs throughout the years. She previously served as the Doberman rescue chair for the Doberman Pinscher Club of Columbus. She also donated her time and resources to multiple organizations for rehoming rescues.

We are raising funds to cover veterinary expenses and other basic needs for the family at this time.
