Siggie is one of our beloved rescues who found a forever home in Germany. A sweet and playful soul, she finally had the peaceful life every rescue deserves. But heartbreakingly, Siggie has recently been diagnosed with FIP – Feline Infectious Peritonitis, a devastating disease triggered by the feline coronavirus.

FIP was once considered a death sentence, but thanks to recent medical advances, there’s now hope. Treatment is possible – but it comes at a very high cost.

Siggie's condition quickly worsened and she had to be hospitalised. Each night in the clinic costs €500, and her current vet bill is already over €2,000 – and growing.

Her adopter didn’t think twice about saving her. She could have chosen the easier – and cheaper – way out. But she chose love. She chose to fight. Now, she needs help to keep fighting.

Siggie es una de nuestras rescatadas, una gatita adorable que fue adoptada en Alemania y que por fin había encontrado el hogar tranquilo y amoroso que tanto merecía. Pero hace poco recibió un diagnóstico devastador: PIF – Peritonitis Infecciosa Felina, una enfermedad grave provocada por la respuesta inmunitaria al coronavirus felino.

Durante mucho tiempo, la PIF fue considerada una sentencia de muerte. Pero hoy existe un tratamiento posible, aunque con un coste muy elevado.

El estado de Siggie empeoró rápidamente y tuvo que ser hospitalizada. Cada noche en la clínica cuesta 500 euros, y su familia humana ya tiene una factura que supera los 2.000 euros… y sigue aumentando.

Su adoptante podría haber optado por lo más fácil y haberla dejado ir. En cambio, eligió luchar. Eligió el amor. Eligió darle una oportunidad. Ahora necesita nuestra ayuda.
