In August 2025, we started this gofundme page for our deeply loved family friend whose world has been turned upside down by a devastating diagnosis. Jiade Hosenbocus, just 44 years old, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer, now at a terminal stage.

As the sole breadwinner of his household, this illness is not only a personal battle but a profound financial crisis for his entire family.

We have relaunched this fundraiser to now help towards the forthcoming known cost:

His wife is doing all she can to care for him and their family - including their sons (ages 24 and 12) and younger sister (19), who also lives with them. They are already no strangers to heartbreak: just a few years ago, the family tragetically lost their 4 year old to cancer. Now, the same cruel disease has returned to haunt them.

This time, the weight is heavier, loss of income, and the emotional toll are more than any family should bear.
