Zeus and Lacey are more than just pets—they’re family. I rescued Zeus on December 24th, 2016, when he was two years old. He’s been my loyal companion ever since, and together we’ve faced many ups and downs. Lacey came into my life several years before Zeus. She was originally my brother’s dog, but after his passing, I inherited her, and she’s been a source of comfort and love ever since.

Recently, both Zeus and Lacey have faced serious health challenges. Zeus underwent emergency surgery a month ago at the UT College of Veterinary Medicine, where doctors removed a five-pound tumor from his stomach. He’s now beginning chemotherapy to fight two different cancers. Lacey, meanwhile, has been diagnosed with vestibular disease, but requires more tests to discover the root cause. The costs for their treatments are mounting, and I want to give them every chance to recover and enjoy what years they may have left.

Last year, I had to retire for medical reasons, which has made it difficult to keep up with the growing veterinary bills. I’m asking for help to cover Zeus’s chemotherapy and Lacey’s surgery, as well as ongoing care and medications.
