Help our Zeus Heal After His Accident.

On the night of September 21st, our sweet family dog, Zeus, was hit by a car. He suffered a broken femur in his back left leg and a dislocated hip in his back right leg. Right now, Zeus is sedated and on strong pain medication at our local animal hospital. The veterinarians say he will need two major surgeries, followed by an 8-week recovery period with frequent post-op visits to ensure proper healing.

Zeus has been part of our family since he was just 6 weeks old. He is now 10 years old and has been with us through every milestone. When we first brought him home, our daughter was only a year old — they grew up side by side and have been inseparable ever since. To us, Zeus is more than just a pet — he is truly another child, a loyal companion, and a cherished member of our family.

The estimated cost of Zeus’s surgeries and recovery care is $10,000. This is an expense we were completely unprepared for, but we are determined to give Zeus the chance to live out his golden years happy, healthy, and pain-free.
