Zeus has been my loyal companion and emotional support animal for almost four years. He has an incredible sense for when someone needs comfort, always leaning his body against your legs when you’re feeling down or anxious. His gentle nature and loving presence have made a huge difference in my life and the lives of those around him.
Recently, Zeus developed a mass on his tail that became infected and started causing him significant discomfort. The vet has recommended amputation as the best option, but the procedure is expensive and comes at a difficult time. We don’t yet know if the mass is cancerous, but either way, Zeus needs this surgery to relieve his pain and give him the best chance at a happy future.
After the surgery, Zeus will need antibiotics and close monitoring to ensure a smooth recovery. Any support will go directly toward his medical care and aftercare. I’m grateful for any help and would love to keep supporters updated with pictures as Zeus heals and gets back to being his sweet, comforting self.
