Hi, I’m Bunny and this is my little Zeus, a very snuggly Chihuahua who has been with me for more than a decade, and he needs help.
Shortly after our Miss Toni crossed the rainbow bridge, Zeus received a prognosis of a malignant oral tumor, highly suspicious for oral melanoma, one of the most aggressive cancers in dogs. The tumor is growing in the back of his mouth and extending toward his eye. Without treatment soon, this will be fatal.
The specialists at the Animal Dental Center (lucky to have such experts in the area!) explained that time is critical and surgery is recommended as soon as possible.
✍️I got a very comprehensive estimate from the ADC: surgery, imaging, anesthesia, and pathology $5,433-$6,753. There is high potential of needing ongoing oncology care after surgery. All funds are going to treatment, but getting the tumor out of Zeus mouth is paramount since it is still growing.
The ADC requires all funds upfront to initiate treatment, and because time is of the essence, I need your help to give Zeus a fighting chance.
Zeus still has no sign of spreading to his lungs, and he is otherwise healthy and happy to be alive. He just needs this surgery to give him a shot at snuggling well into the future.
Your support will help get Zeus free of the tumor and onto a recovery plan.
Even a small donation or sharing this link helps us get Zeus closer to surgery day.
Zeus has been a best friend to me and to many of you. He’s hit you with his signature move: being a 10 lb parrot on your shoulder. He deserves more time in comfort and dignity to enjoy the sun, his stuffed toys, and having a tiny bit of cheese from time to time.
Thank you for even thinking about helping to save Zeus.
Every share and every dollar helps.
