Hi. My name is Shannon and I am looking to raise money for my 11 year old dachshund, Zeus. Recently, we discovered that Zeus has a large mass on his right kidney. It is malignant. Luckily, we caught it early enough that it has not metastasized into his chest or any other organs. We are now going through the process of seeing an oncologist to determine what our nexts steps are; whether that be treatment, surgery, or pain management. On top of this, we have also discovered that Zeus has chronic pancreatitis which has resulted in us needing to put him on prescription dog food as well as anti-nausea medication.

These appointments/tests have been very costly. Within the last month, I have spent a total of $2340.55. This includes vet visits, diagnostic services, medications, and prescription dog food, which he will now need to be on indefinitely. This does not include the additional money we will need to pay for his oncology appointment on March 3rd, or any of the treatment paths/medications he will need moving forward.

If you know me personally, you know Zeus is my entire world. I would do anything for him and would tell anyone that he is the love of my life. I got Zeus when I was 17 years old and he was only 4 months old then. I’m now 28 years old, so he has been with me my entire adult life. I don’t know what I would do without him.

If anyone could help, in any way, it would be greatly appreciated. I usually do not ask for help, from anyone. But I truly would do anything for Zeus; and if this could help in any way, I would be forever grateful.
