Zeus, my German Shepherd, has been my loyal companion since 2017, when my parents first brought him home just before my birthday. He was only two months old, full of excitement and joy, wagging his tail and running to me with so much energy that he ended up peeing everywhere. From that moment, I knew Zeus had chosen me to be his protector. We’ve been through so much together, and he’s always been by my side—my fur baby, my best friend, and my constant source of comfort.

Recently, Zeus was diagnosed with leg cancer just before his ninth birthday which is on April 22. The news has been heartbreaking. He now needs more x-ray scans to see if the cancer has spread to his other legs and chest, and possibly surgery. The vet recommended amputation, but there’s a risk that his remaining leg could develop hip dysplasia or arthritis from carrying all the weight. Despite these challenges, I want to do everything I can to give Zeus the best care possible.

The funds raised will go toward Zeus’s medication, ongoing care, additional x-rays, and any necessary surgery. My goal is to cover his vet bills and give him the best chance at comfort and more time together. More than anything, I would love for Zeus to be in everyone’s prayers.
