Back Story (Link):
I am a filmmaker and media professional from Pakistan. I had a "dream come true" moment when I received an acceptance letter to the MFA Design and Technology program at Parsons School of Design in New York! Parsons ranks in one of the world's top 3 design schools.
Although, I was also offered a 50% scholarship based on my portfolio. However, the hard part had just begun. Like many others who are recovering from the hardships of the Covid, my work and earnings have also suffered. My current financial circumstances still don't allow me the ability to pay last year's tuition fee.
I am trying to raise $35,405 to complete my studies, covering a portion of the remaining 50% of my tuition fee. If I can fulfill this educational dream with your generosity, I promise to give back to the community. I plan to teach workshops on "Intro to Design and Technology" to students in Pakistani public schools.
