Hi, my name is Zero, and I’m asking for your help to attend the SCAD Rising Star program—a pre-college experience for young artists like me.
I’ve always loved theater because it gave me a stage to exist authentically—a place where I didn’t have to shrink myself to fit expectations.
As someone who understands the power of space, I want to create environments where authenticity thrives. For me, production design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about shaping stories that matter.
I’ve worked hard to earn this opportunity:
Maintained a 4.0 GPA
Applied and prepared on my own
Started a part time job to help cover costs
Completing high school in just 3 years to pursue my dreams faster
This program is more than a summer experience—it’s a game-changer:
I’ll earn college credits for two classes, giving me a head start on my degree.
If I complete the program with a 3.0 GPA or higher, I’ll receive automatic acceptance into SCAD—one of the top art and design schools in the country.
The challenge? The program costs about $6,000, and despite saving and searching for scholarships, I’ve come up short. Most traditional scholarships don’t apply to pre-college programs, and SCAD confirmed that additional funding is rare.
My parents already carry a heavy financial responsibility caring for my siblings, so I’m determined to contribute as much as I can. But I need help to make this dream possible.
Every donation—big or small—will go directly toward tuition, housing, and program fees. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign means the world to me.
Thank you for believing in me and helping me take this incredible step toward my future in the arts!
