Help Zephyr Build His Dream: The Pizza Planet Truck!

Hi friends and family,

My name is Shane White and I’m raising funds for my son, Zephyr, and a very special homeschool project we’ve been working on together—building a full replica of the iconic Pizza Planet truck from Toy Story!

This isn't just a fun father-son project (although it definitely is that too!)—it’s also a hands-on learning journey in mechanics, design, art, and perseverance. Zephyr has poured his heart into restoring this truck with me, learning how to wire lights, prep for paint, and understand the inner workings of a real vehicle—all while bringing a beloved piece of movie magic to life.

We’re hoping to enter it in this year’s Sea Cruise car show as an official movie prop vehicle, which is a huge motivator for Zephyr and a major milestone in this project. It’s an incredible opportunity for him to showcase his hard work and creativity to the community—and experience the pride of completing something big.

But we need your help to get there.

What we’re raising funds for:

• Parts and labor to finish the truck

• Installing the new motor

• Buying or building the rocket launcher for the roof

• Sanding, painting, and adding graphics

• Wiring lights and other finishing touches

• Registration fees and related costs for the Sea Cruise event

• Gas and travel expenses if we exceed our goal

Our goal is $1,000, but anything above that will go directly toward making the truck even more amazing for Zephyr (and anyone who sees it!).

This project has been a powerful bonding experience for us, and watching Zephyr light up with every new milestone has been a gift. He's so excited to show the final product and inspire other kids to chase their dreams—even if those dreams start with a beat-up old pickup and a rocket on the roof.
