Zenia was adopted from the shelter by my parents exactly one year ago as a kitten.

Few days ago he became very weak and was taken to Minnieville Animal Hospital.

He was diagnosed with anemia – reduced number of circulating blood cells. Zenia was given steroids for 3 days but they did not help. He became very lethargic and they took him to ER at MedVet Northern Virginia. He was given blood transfusion and various medications but his health did not improve greatly. Last night he was given another blood transfusion. We visited him today and he is doing little bit better.

But it's just the beginning. Tomorrow, January 10 Zenia will have various examinations including bone marrow biopsy as we still trying to find the cause of anemia to cure it.

We all love him very much and don’t want to loose him in this fight. We are reaching out for help to give Zenia a chance! All donations will go towards Zenia’s current and future medical bills.
