My dog, Zeni, is currently in emergency surgery for bloat—a sudden and life-threatening condition that affects barrel-chested dogs. Bloat happens when the stomach fills with gas, fluid, or food and twists on itself, causing severe pain and requiring immediate medical attention. This has been a terrifying experience, and I am doing everything I can to give Zeni the best chance at recovery.

The funds raised will go directly toward paying for Zeni’s emergency surgery, her follow-up care, medications for home, and any additional expenses that may arise during her recovery. This is Zeni’s second medical emergency in the past year, and the costs are overwhelming. As a single mom of two kids, I haven’t been working so I can pursue school full time, which means my resources are very limited. I am in a vulnerable situation and know that everyone is struggling to get by right now.
