This is really difficult for us to do, but my husband Zenaido Pruneda was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. He needs a PET scan as soon as possible so his oncologist can start treatment, but our insurance won’t cover the full cost. We need to come up with the money up front, and it’s a challenge we never expected to face.

I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t my husband’s life on the line. I’m not good at asking for help, and honestly, it’s embarrassing to reach out like this.
