Zeke is a Blue Heeler Border Collie mix puppy who has already been through so much in his short life. He was left behind when his original family had to move quickly to escape an unsafe situation, and since then, he’s been waiting for a place to call home. The kids and their mom who loved him so much couldn’t take him with them, and my girlfriend and I have been checking on him, making sure he’s safe and cared for. Even though the house had no power or water, we did everything we could to make sure he wasn’t alone, but Zeke still felt abandoned and lost a lot of weight.
Now, I have the chance to bring Zeke home and give him the love and stability he deserves. I live in low-income housing and am working on getting SSI, but my caseworker said I can adopt Zeke if I follow the right steps. He needs his shots updated, to be neutered, and to get licensed before he can come home with us. I have a doctor’s note for him to be my Emotional Service Animal, and I’ve already started leash and potty training him. Zeke is such a sweetheart—he just wants attention and to never feel alone again. With your help, he can become a happy, healthy, and loved member of our family, and both families who care about him will still be able to see him and give him the love he deserves.
Being with us will give Zeke the chance to socialize with other animals and dogs in our apartment complex, and he’ll get plenty of exercise and stimulation. I’m committed to giving him structure and working on every command and training process I know. I’ve trained many animals before, and I will go above and beyond for Zeke to help him become the best family dog, road dog, and loyal companion he can be.
Your support will help cover the costs of his vaccinations, neutering, and licensing, and give Zeke the second chance he needs. We want the kids to grow up with him, and for Zeke to be happy, healthy, and surrounded by love. Please help us give Zeke the life he deserves.
