Hi, my name is Zeebs. I was your typical college age girl ready to take the world by storm when one day, my entire world changed. I had devoted my life to being a missionary overseas when my health began failing me. I was in so much pain. I couldn't eat solid foods for months. I was so fatigued. All the normal everyday things became so much harder. In 2018, I was bedridden, only emerging from my bedroom to drink a smoothie or use the restroom. I spent a few weeks at the Mayo Clinic that year and was diagnosed with POTS. Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome is a syndrome that encompasses many areas of your body but the root cause of the symptoms is a malfunction in the Autonomic Nervous System. I now have the opportunity to try a new program at the POTS Treatment Center in Dallas, Texas. I have exhausted all other treatment options at this point. I am on so many medications, I've tried exercise programs, I've increased my salt and water intake; nothing truly helps.
