Dear Friends:  On Nov 9th I suffered a spinal compression injury that resulted in nerve damage which affected my ability to stand and walk. I was rushed into emergency surgery and my spine was reconstructed with the help of a team of spine specialists, 8 titanium screws and 2 titanium rods. 
   I have a difficult recovery ahead and a major concern is finances. As many of you know, the cost of rent in San Francisco is very high, not to mention bills. My insurance deductibles alone are on track to put me in debilitating debt. I  am asking for assistance to get through this difficult time by helping me cover the rent on my San Francisco apartment and art studio. I am working everyday to get back to my easel and studio but I need your help to get there.
