Help Zed Fight Aggressive Spinal Infection

I’m reaching out to ask for help for my sweet boy Zed. We’ve been in and out of the vet for 3 weeks and as of last night, Zed’s been diagnosed with a spinal infection that’s causing him intense pain.

The infection caused a dangerously high fever and his back legs have become weak. The vets sent us to neurology and to begin aggressive treatment, including hospitalization, to help him fight it.

Our story: Zed has been my other half since I met him when he was 2 months old. We’ve been together since that time. He has been the consistent thread in my life for the past 6 years. Through his presence, I’ve learned about consistency, responsibility, how to love unconditionally and put the needs of others before myself. He re-ignited my lost love for nature and taught me to practice playfulness in the dead of the winter, like we do so easily in summer.
