So, as most of you know, we welcomed a beautiful baby boy on June 12th. Day 1 of life, he had his CDH repair and day 6 of life he had his heart surgery. It was a long and rough road of recovery and rehabilitation. Things were looking great and we were even discussing discharge. The evening of July 11th, we found out that his CDH repair came undone. His 3rd surgery is set for Monday July 14th. With this setback, we have to be in the hospital longer than anticipated for additional rest, recovery and rehabilitation. We are currently at the Children’s Hospital of Colorado in Aurora for treatment. Any donations will go to travel and medical expenses brought on by this unexpected turn of events.
