On May 17th of this year, our sweet boy Zayden was rushed to Rady's Children's Hospital in agonizing pain and temporarily couldn't move. His bladder was distended inappropriately in his abdomen and was later determined that he has tethered cord.

Tethered Cord is a rare neurological disorder of the spine. In Zayden's case, it affects his bladder and bladder function.

On Monday July 26th he will undergo spine surgery to stop further neurological damage. Recovery will be a challenging 6 to 8 weeks and will require various therapies afterwards including physical and emotional therapy. He is very excited to start TK this fall but will have to miss the 1st couple months.

As many of you know , our family has been dealing with medical challenges due my chronic conditions/blood clotting issues but this one is extra challenging because it involves our loving 4 year old!

My husband Zach will take time off of work unpaid to be by Zayden's side.

We appreciate ANY amount given. All funds raised will go towards his medical treatment and therapies. We will keep those who wish in the loop regarding his progress.
