***Update 4/15 : Unfortunately, things took a turn for the worse. Zaya’s little body was traumatized and she developed myelomalacia, which is rare, but causes the spinal cord to slowly die and is ultimately fatal. We ended up having to put her down. Thank you so much to everyone that has donated. All funds go towards subsidizing the overall hospital and surgery costs.

This is sweet Zaya, she is a strong little 4yr old rescue that has recently, very suddenly suffered from two herniated discs in her spine that needed immediate surgery, and have caused trauma to the spinal cord, resulting in paralyzation from her hips down. She is still hospitalized and needing constant treatment for hopefully improved neurological function. I am grateful I did not have to put her down but I certainly am caught unprepared by this expense. Any amount is truly helpful!
